Maybe I'm just the the bigest jerk in the world....I wouldnt disagree with that but am I the only person who is upset when we dont win the gold?
No one would be talking about Michael Phelps if he had gotten 2nd or 3rd place 8 times. No one would care.
I grew up being taught that 2nd place is the first loser. Imagine how weird it would have been if the Patriots would have celebrated losing the Super Bowl.

My team got second place at our volleyball tournament last weekend and we were all very excited and proud of what we acomplished. So your calling us all losers?? What a jerk!
